Kowabunga!

We had our seventh service on July 23. The usual communion was to be followed by a worship of primitive spirits. We were eager to learn the ways of the primitive cultures. Human sacrifice, voodoo and head shrinking are traditions that COB is sorely lacking the knowledge of. We needed to travel far to learn the secrets of these ancient peoples. We journeyed all the way to Hollywood in our pilgrimage.

Along the way, we stopped at a treasure trove of Pop culture. Amoeba is where one can obtain Record albums, CDs, DVDs and even lazer discs that are very hard to find. Many items are hard to find because nobody is looking for them. Movies like "The Baby", complete seasons of "Lance Link Secret Chimp", a plethora of Ed Wood masterpieces with plenty of John Waters thrown in.

Soon we were back on our path and making our way to the temple that provides us with education and insight. The ceremonies began with some instructional film about island culture and worship. It was titled "Enchanted Island". It taught aboutcannibalism (something we really ought to at least try. Any volunteers?) It provided a good understanding of the meaning of "taboo" and provided an excellent example of why filming "day for night" does not work.

It was a very exciting filmSleepy

We made friends with some of the locals

But then we ran into some ruthless savages.

Peaches and Fluff knew not to trust them. But the men of our congregation became friendly with them.

We still don't understand why the boys responded so eagerly when these native women asked if they wanted a little head.
